PUDDING WINES
We have a small selection of very fine pudding wines on the list, and
a number are in half bottles which are enough for a small glass for
three or four people We have followed Château de la Chartreuse
for many years and it has been consistently good. The Maury (red
port style) is probably the rarest wine on this list, and an absolute
treat.

PORT & SHERRY
We have been storing our vintage ports since they were first
released on to the market, and are pleased to be able to offer them
when they are properly ready to drink. Although not well known,
Quinta de Vesuvio is a real find - until recently this port was only
drunk as the in–house port of the Warres family, not available
outside Portugal. We are also selling the Quinta at an exceptional
£90.00 a bottle in order to help introduce the port to a wider
audience. The vintage ports can all be decanted to order.

WINE & CHAMPAGNE LIST

NON VINTAGE CHAMPAGNES
Champagne is the great wine for celebrations and lifting the spirits. The selection of houses represented here are those who we feel have always refused to compromise the quality that they produce, despite enormous pressures from an increasingly demanding market. Non vintage always presents the greatest challenge for any Champagne House, since the brand style and quality has to be consistent year after year.
£ / Bottle £ / Half
1 Joseph Perrier Cuvée Royale (12%) 40.00 20.70
2 Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label (12%) 50.00 25.70
3 Pol Roger White Foil (12%) 53.00

5 Bollinger Special Cuvée (12%) 59.50
13 Louis Roederer Riche – 100% Chardonnay (12%) 54.00

VINTAGE CHAMPAGNES
Vintage Champagnes are only produced in the best years – generally every two or three. We are fortunate that the late 1990’s had a high proportion of fine years, and the fact that we are now drinking Champagne at eight years old means that they have reached a lovely stage of maturity.

9 Veuve Clicquot 1999/00 (12%) 66.00
10 Bollinger Grande Année 1999 (12%) 78.00

PRESTIGE CUVÉES
These Champagnes are produced in tiny quantities in exceptional years, using the very best grapes from the premium vineyard sites. They are always in short supply, but the great elegance in all of them provides a pleasure that only comes from the finest Champagne in the world.
