This Christmas, Indian restaurant Hason Raja, will be treating their customers to a festive alternative to the traditional turkey dinner we indulge in year on year. The renowned restaurant is serving four exciting alternative Christmas menus for those who love to sample something new, entwined with a spicy twist and complete with trimmings. Undoubtedly, customers will be spoilt for choice from the three course meal Christmas party menus, which will also include a vegetarian option.

Named after a 19th century Bangladeshi poet come playboy, Hason Raja is renowned for its top class service and elegant surroundings matching its theatrical inspiration. With an eclectic new menu of exquisite dishes there has never been a better time to visit. Why not indulge in the tantalising Salmon Celery Tikka, Shathkora Mangsho, a traditional Bangladeshi dish of diced shank of lamb cooked with wild Bangladeshi lemons, Anari Chaamp, tawa grilled lamb in a star anise and pomegranate sauce, and the chef’s special recipe, the Garlic Murg Tawa, tender chicken cooked with tomatoes and green peppers with a touch of ginger and garlic? There is also a selection of traditional tandoori baked naans and subtly spiced vegetable cuisines such as Bargari Baingon, tandoor baked aubergines, and Sobzi Biryani. To finish, Halwa and the Shahi Tukra are perfect for those with a taste for the decadent.

3 minutes walk from either station.
