The RIBA Restaurant is a true gem within the hub of central London. Hidden away within the Royal Institute of British Architects the RIBA restaurant can be found on the first floor in the airy and richly decorated Art Deco Florence Hall.

On a summer’s day the restaurant expands as the doors of the Florence Hall open up onto a beautiful terrace which provides a sun trap where diners can enjoy a sumptuous lunch or afternoon tea. The RIBA Restaurant is also open for those looking to host an informal breakfast meeting.

On the à la carte menu diners will find dishes like ‘baby squid ceviche cured in lime juice with papaya and chilli salad’ or ‘terrine of Leicester guinea fowl and rocha pear’ for starters. Mains include ‘sea trout with saffron beurre blanc’ and ‘West Country veal rump steak’. The menu is always topped off with some mouth watering desserts such as Amedei dark chocolate mousse and ‘custard tart with gooseberry compote’. Diners can expect to pay £22 for a two course meal and £28 for a three course meal from the à la carte menu. Enjoy Afternoon Tea at the RIBA. Twinings Tea Rituals start from £16 for Traditional Afternoon Tea or add an extra fizz to your week with our Champagne Afternoon Tea at £22.00.

The RIBA is enviably positioned in the heart of London’s West End at 66 Portland Place, W1.

The RIBA restaurant is open Monday – Friday from 12pm until 3pm and their café-bar is open from 8am – 6
