Bar Estilo
This small chain of bar and tapas-style Spanish establishments has just been given a boost with a complete makeover of this branch both in terms of décor and menu. Others are to follow suit shortly. So what we get are wrought iron artefacts, stained glass panels and dim lighting, all culminating in a warm and inviting environment. The new menu has been given a hint of imagination with the likes of tapas such as marinated chicken skewers with quince, lemon and mint dip, paella with roasted vegetables, tomato and chilli, or sardines in a delicious sauce of pine nut, tomato, and olive butter. Mains are substantial to say the least with the likes of confit of duck slow roasted and served with mash potato, balsamic onion gravy and sautéed greens. Drinks choice is plentiful too with sangrias served both by the glass and jug. Service is friendly and efficient.
